Bid Preparation:
Buyers provide i-logi with the lane/sku information that they are interested in tendering out. This information is crafted into an online RFQ. Each lane is weighted differently depending on frequency, benchmark spend, etc…

Bid Execution:
Vendors are given a password that enables them to log on to the bid (via the web) and price the lanes they are interested in. Vendors may filter and analyze a buyer’s RFQ based on origin, destination, sku, equipment type, or other attributes. Each bid receives a grade (A, B, C, D,or F) based on how it compares to the other participant’s bids and the benchmark in that lane. Vendors are able to view the grade each bid receives and can change bids to better position themselves up until the RFQ close.

Vendors also receive an overall grade on the culmination of the lanes they bid on. This grade factors in the weight each lane receives. Thus an “A” grade in a highly weighted lane will affect the overall grade more than an “A” in a lower weighted lane.

Bid Close:
At the completion of the bid all vendor rates are locked in place and changes can no longer be made.

Bid Analysis:
The i-logi technology enables our clients to evaluate the entire bid instantly upon the close of the auction (analysis can also be conducted throughout the auction). Analysis that may have taken days to weeks in the past can now be completed in a matter of minutes. The i-logi technology permits the buyer to look at a myriad of options; weighing potential cost, service, and capacity, ensuring the buyer receives the desired service at the right price.

Bid Completion:
Once the buyer has determined how they will award the business, i-logi will notify all the vendors that the award has been made.
i-logi will then produce a complete dynamic auction overview that reflects the optimal and backup vendors by lane.

Additional Information:
There are no constraints upon the number of vendors involved or the number of lanes (or sku's) that are bid out.

i-logi also allows the buyer to implement bidding structures apart from the conventional lane/sku bid (State-to-State Matrix, Per cwt Matrix, etc…). These bids will be uniquely priced based upon the work involved.

i-logi is a web-based software, thus no system configuration or software implementation is needed.

The i-logi solution allows companies of all sizes to conduct RFQs in an internet-based, real-time, neutral environment. The solution helps reduce administrative costs associated with RFQs, enhances buyer-vendor relationships, and saves time and money. It is also enables buyers to:
